Dynamic Motherhood’s Approach

Mandie’s approach is about empowering mothers in achieving their unique and positive motherhood experience by providing intuition-based, nonjudgmental education that supports your motherhood instincts during your journey. Mandie equips you with the tools needed to have the motherhood experience you desire. From conception through postpartum, Mandie is available to provide birth, breastfeeding, and infant sleep education, help you formulate your birth and postpartum plan; teach you how to trust your instincts; and utilize your baby’s cues to follow their lead. Mandie believes you are an individual with unique needs and instincts that are deserving of respect and support. Mandie helps families by preparing and supporting your autonomy, embracing your individuality, and trusting your instincts. She has found this allows mothers to transform and thrive. Who you are and what you want out of your motherhood experience matters and your preferences deserve to be respected and supported.

Moms are facing huge challenges…

  • The cesarean birth rate is unnecessarily increasing with roughly 32% of women experiencing birth via cesarean. (The WHO recommends the cesarean rate should be 10-15% for optimal outcomes for mom and baby).

  • Roughly 45% of women are experiencing birth trauma with 2 in 3 women who experienced birth trauma reporting their trauma could have been completely avoided.

  • Following childbirth, almost 9% of women met the diagnostic criteria for PTSD at least once in the first 24 months postpartum. Many more exhibit PTSD-like symptoms.

  • Suicide is the leading cause of death for mothers after birth.

  • 1 in 3 mothers will be diagnosed with a mental health disorder during postpartum.

  • Mothers are 28% more likely to develop a postpartum autoimmune disease within the first year postpartum

These challenges are only going to continue getting worse if women don’t start demanding better care…

This is where I come in.

Having someone to support and help you navigate these challenges can make all the difference in supporting your positive motherhood journey.

“Every mom deserves and needs a support system and Mandie is by far one of the greatest supporters you could have along this journey!”

Hiyas,
I’m Mandie!

I am a Montana State alumna with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. I am a huge MSU fan and love to attend football and basketball games when I can. I was pursing a dual Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling when I became pregnant. I experienced a miscarriage before becoming pregnant again a few months later and these experiences really sparked an immense passion for all things pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. I chose to follow this passion and sought new education. I sought training and certifications in full-spectrum doula support, lactation, perinatal nutrition, and infant/child sleep.

In all my education and experience supporting mothers, I started noticing a pattern. There is so much “noise” from all these “experts” that drowns out a woman’s ability to listen to her instincts and trust herself. Women have begun doubting themselves and handing over their autonomy and decisions to other people who are not equipped to safeguard and embrace the individual experience. From my own journey with motherhood, my education, and experience supporting other mothers I’ve learned about and experienced embracing one’s individual experience. I help families by preparing and supporting your autonomy, embracing your individuality, and trusting your instincts. I have found this allows mothers to transform and thrive.

I can’t say enough good things about Mandie. She was with us every step of the way guiding us through…I don’t know how anyone does go through this without Mandie! I was very nervous as a first time mom but with her help I went in feeling confident rather than anxious.
